It is the pinciple of economics. Just like a can of soft drinks its contents will be the same no matter where you buy it, but, it will cost different in a hotel, in a mall, in a sidewalk or in a sari-sai store. It is now up to you where you would like to buy it and enjoy the other ammenities that goes with it. As for the races, its also up to the person if he wants the other ammenities and just a plain simple fun run.

because running a days becomes a business. they are making money from road racing because runners just register even if the fees are expensive. condura run is one of the most expensive race but still thousands of runners will participate. for as long as the runners will patronize expensive races, fees will become higher and higher.

Yup .. I remember the time when I thought that 500 was expensive. It seems that 750 is the standard for half-marathons. I hope that 850 won’t be the standard for the 42K.
